Why Hemp?

Hemp is one of the most versatile plants on earth.  There are literally thousands of uses from the various parts of the hemp plant.  Hemp has been used for the service of mankind for thousands of years.

In spite of the laws enacted to prohibit hemp production in the 1930s, hemp remains a valuable and viable crop that transcends those laws.

Today, hemp is being used for bio-mass fuels, plastics, paper, clothing, seed oils, medicine, building materials and auto parts.

Georgia needs this versatile crop to build new industries.  Hemp has the potential to create thousands of new jobs for Georgia, improve the quality of our soil and our air, and improve our quality of life.
