Time and Place
The first meeting of the House Study Committee on Industrial Hemp Production has been set for August 13th, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The venue is Athens Technical College-Elbert County Campus, 1317 Athens Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635. The meeting will be held in the Williford Center (Building 200), in Room 203 and is open to the public.
HR 1473
House Resolution 1473 in the 2017-2018 Legislative Session formed the House Study Committee on Industrial Hemp Production. The powers and duties of the committee are to undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, and problems related to industrial hemp production and recommend any action or legislation which the committee deems necessary or appropriate.
